Myles Howard's "Original" SongMasterS, now "The Myles Howard Family," are one of the most sincere groups in the Gospel Music industry today. Their goal is not only crowd pleasing, message oriented singing, but the desire to lift the spirits of those who hear them. Southern Gospel is the mainstay of this group. From the smoothest harmonies of which this group is famous for, to the "hand clapping down home style" in one total package. Myles Howard is a name synonymous with Southern Gospel Music, and one of the industries most recognized veterans. For over 35 years, his unmistakable, distinctive piano style has gained him national recognition as a premier quartet pianist, and has been an inspiration for many inspiring musicians. He has been nominated for some of Gospel Music's highest honors for "Favorite Musician"., and has been inducted as a "Living Legend" by the S.G.M.P.G. Myles is also highly acclaimed as an Evangelist, Songwriter, Studio musician and Producer with over 250 albums to his credit. |
Myles wife Janie sings with the group. Janie is an accomplished singer, with over 30 years experience to her credit. Audiences everywhere fall in love with her charismatic personality, equally on stage as well as off. Cliff Howard ( Myles & Janie's son) sings, as well as plays bass guitar for the group. Cliff is also recognized as an accomplished musician, and stays in demand for recording work. He is on the endorsement program for a major bass guitar company, and is viewed as one of the nations youngest professional Southern Gospel musicians. Cliff is also following in his fathers footsteps by following the Lord's call to preach. Tiffiny, (Myles & Janie's daughter) also sings occasionally with the group. Audiences love to hear this girl sing. She has won the hearts of people everywhere, and is a great favorite of the kids. |
